Dear ERMapper List Subscribers: I'm hoping that I can get some assistance for a somewhat unusual request. I have about 80 serial section images of a rock sample. Each image has a common set of registration marks. I also have a file that contains the coordinates (using a common origin) of the registration marks for each image (serial section). By measuring each registration mark against the first image, I have determined the orientation and offset for each registration mark for each image. These orientations and offsets have been compiled in a separate file. I would like to set up a script that would read in each image (in .tiff format) and the corresponding offset and rotation with a subsequent translation and rotation of each image so that they are all properly registered with each other. I thought ERMapper would be a good package to tackle this problem because of the batch scripting capability. Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated and acknowledged.
