Adam,

The problem regarding True Type fonts under Windows 2000 was fixed for
ERMapper 6.2, which would explain why you are able to successfully display
like images on another machine. The fix is implemented with a registry key
that is set during an installation of 6.2. This may not have been set when
you installed 6.2 on your machine (reason escapes me at this time though).
If you are comfortable with the regedit program, have a look for the
following key :

My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options

and see if there is an entry for "gsnt.exe". If not, this will explain
your problem. I have sent a patch to you via email, that you can run
regardless of whether the registry entry exists already, but I would be
interested to know whether it does exist or not.

Hi all,=20

I've run into a problem using certain True Type fonts in ERM 6.2 under =
Windows 2000. I receive a gsnt.exe - Application Error stating The =
instruction at "0x77fc9b1" referenced at "0x0000000". The memory could =
not be "written". Vector display failed: gs exited with status: =
-1073741819. I can display certain True Type fonts such as Arial, but =
other more stylish fonts produce the aforementioned error. I tried =
installing ERM 6.1 over top of 6.2 to see if this would correct the =
problem, but it did not. The font I am trying to use (copper-plate =
gothic) has been used success before, so I am not sure where the =
problem is coming from. I have ERM 6.2 loaded on a practically =
identical Win2000 machine and there are no problems with True Type =
fonts, any ideas?
