Hi Selcuk Reis:

Setting up a text file should be in the following format. Easting, Northing,
Class
number and Class name within single quote. NO TAB;ONLY SPACE
Example of a groundtruthing text file (class number should be in sequence
1,2,3,4,5)

480925.63 3615125.43 1 'Water'
478715.11 3626414.91 1 'Water'
479188.79 3624362.27 2 'Shallow Water'
485504.58 3621993.85 3 'Grass'
476820.37 3616941.22 3 'Grass'

Import the *.txt file from Utilities->Import Vector & GIS Formats
->ASCII points with attributes (Save as *.erv vector file)

 View->Statistics->Confusion Matrix

Load *.erv or a classified image (Therefore can check Image to Image)

Setting up a Reference Dataset

To use for your ground truthing. This may be a vector file imported using
Utilities / Import Vector and GISformats / ASCII Points with Attributes or a
classified .ers file

Then do the following:
View Statistics ConfusionMatrix
Load your Reference Data (Groundtruthed .erv file)
Load your Classified image
Choose (a) Raw Count (b) Users Accuarcy (measure of Commission error) (c)
Producers Accuracy (Errors of omission) to display the accuracy

All the best,

Abdullah Mah
