To see small objects which are coming at Earth "out of the sun" (that
is, from that direction), we need to be looking from a vantage point closer
to the sun. It would not be that hard, or costly, to place a couple of
telescopes at inner-planet libration points ( a la "Venus Equilateral") to
do this observation.
