I've also noted that Swagelok ball valves state that the standard
seat material is 'reinforced TFE', with 'virgin TFE' as an optional
material with a lower pressure rating.  The questions is:  What is that
reinforcing material and it that the problem?  The only other options
are UHMW polyethylene or PEEK.  The first should be OK, not sure about
the second.
