It's common to reinforce Teflon with glass fibers, to give it more
mechanical strength in general and help it stay put in particular.  That
ought not to be an issue.  (I think I'd ask for confirmation about the
nature of the reinforcing material if I was going to bet lots of money
on it, however.)
