Be aware, though, that we have never resolved our policy debate about
whether to host or post designs for rockets, rocket engines, rocket
parts, etc. Our primary concern is that some bonehead will use
information he found on our web site to blow himself up, or, worse,
blow up someone else. There is also a concern about liability in case
of such an incident. We've never made a conscious decision not to
post such material, but every time the debate has been revisited, the
consensus has been to err on the side of caution and not post anything
that is directly dangerous to safety or property. With everyone in
the debate gradually converging on the same point of view, the debate
dies once again, with no decision reached nor policy set.
I'm not saying you can't post a design, because we don't have a policy
about that. I am saying be aware of the ethical implications of your
post, and be aware that what you post could put ERPS in a delicate
position ethically and/or legally.
Bunch of weasel words, those, and I hate weasel words. Use 'em
because I have to. In plain English, be careful. In fact, be
cautious.
