I have a copy of TurboCAD (likely a rev or two old) and bought one for
Gene when he was doing ERPS stuff. TC is affordable and powerful
enough for our needs without being TOO terrible a learning curve. My
problem was that I didn't use it often enough to keep proficient.  8-(

An alternative would be to create a CAD directory with upload/download
options. CAD drawing could be posted there with msgs sent to the list
that include descriptions and the link.

Agreed. I think the major issue would be that Dan (who does most of
our machining) is a Mac person, not a PC user. And Dave M (our other
machinist) has drafting background and uses SolidWorks I think. I will
recommend TC, though, and encourage people to adopt it as Standard.
