The KISS III vehicle (KISS three not one hundred and eleven), is a
follow-on to the successful KISS II campaign to fly a simple ballistic
path with an ERPS designed and built vehicle powered by an ERPS
designed and built liquid fuel engine, in this case 85% hydrogen
peroxide monopropellant. Whereas KISS II employed a "blow-down"
pressurization system, KISS III uses an onboard pressurant tank and
will operate at constant pressure. It's a demonstration of an
incremental advance in the onboard rocket technology. We wnat to
demonstrate the technology, verify the operations, and compare
altitude results verses the KISS II blow-down flights.
