Henry,
At AirVenture 2002 last year a retired rocket engineer stopped by our
booth. He commented that he worked with highly concentrated peroxide
during his career. His barrels of it were stored in a circle 'way out in
the desert, "and every once in a while one of those barrels would decide
on its own to try to go into orbit," he said. He had a poor opionion of
the stuff based on direct experience. Aleta
Peroxide's dangerous, but not *that* dangerous if you handle it properly. We have special facilities to store our peroxide, including such measures as not storing it where it'll get hours of direct sunlight and desert-grade heat every day. I don't think we've ever had a spontaneous detonation when we weren't there. (Of course, we'd rather have spontaneous detonations when we're not there than when we are, but we'd really rather not have them at all.) _______________________________________________ ERPS-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.erps.org/mailman/listinfo/erps-list
