Drove away, actually, in a $2500 car that took $6000 worth of damage -
Hondas fail gracefully even in crashes.

What impressed me about that accident was not the beneficial effect of
seat belts - I knew that already - but just how hard the impact was.
My glasses flew off my face and hit the windshield, and they were the
type that grip your head with the spring hinges.
