Jeff has an ulterior motive: he's hoping that if the FAA is dealing with a whole bunch of license applications, including XCOR's future ones, they won't have the time and energy to ask so many questions about each one. :-)Or that they won't need to ask as many questions because they'll have a better feel for what is
allowable and what isn't. Building up that intuition takes time. Also, by the time Jeff & co start
working on their next license application, they too will know better where the landmines to
avoid are.
Volunteering to be the first ones through the learning curve of a new bureaucracy takes cajones
made of a material only slightly less indestructable than those of people flying on mixed monoprop
launchers......
