We haven't yet enabled "cluster stickiness". However, we do have cluster
enabled throttling and cacheing, as well as sticky load-balancing. I
will talk with the rest of the team about what it would take to mix the
two (stickiness + cluster).

Hi,
I have one more question regarding loadbalancing and sticky endpoint
support in a clustered environment.
I would like to use the ClientID-method, where the client "creates" the
session. Do all instances of an ESB cluster share the "state"
information (ClientID -> Endpoint)-Map or is this somehow configurable?
Otherwise a hardware loadbalancer in front of the ESB instances has to
be also capable of sticky session support (in the same way), we I think
might be difficult to achieve. Unfortunately my experiences are quite
limited in this field. I hope you can provide some feedback on this.
Client -> LB -> ESB Cluster -> Service Endpoint Instance -> Backend
System (On subsequent calls a client has to connect to the same Service
Endpoint Instance as on its first call). I really hate those
implementations - but sometimes you have no influence on this.
Regards,
Eric
