Thank you very much for creating the issue. I received the feedback from
our datacenter, that the hardwareloadbalancer will only support some
http-header based sticky session support. But even this might be
difficult as many different parties are involved in the process. 
So such an clusteraware sticky session loadbalancing might be
prerequisite for us to move forward.

I did so this morning. Thanks! 

Also I'm very interested to here about the project's roadmap. When will
version 1.7 be released. Do we speak about weeks or months? Or do you
also plan for some smaller improvements for a 1.6.1 which would not
include such big changes like integrating WSO2 registry?
