i from china, so it's very different here, in Beijing. even the Christmas Day is regraded a westen Holiday, we are very happy for taking a public vacation. however, all celebration seems to been learned from westen culture, the Christmas carol,Santa Claus,Christmas tree. It's always a chance for shopping mall to promote at big discount, sometimes maybe 50% off and open for whole night!The students prefer taking some party that day, and In beijing, the taxi driver told to me: at that night, the passagers are always students! actually, my remember for Christmas celebration is only in my college process, with my girlfried at that time. to normal people, to most of chinese, Christmas are more common for recent years as as a familly festival day. all familly members come togather to have a dinner. And we are all waiting the Spring Festival coming, you know, it should be our most important holiday in China, which is at Jan 25 2009 this time. in our traditional ways, it's the beginning of the new year!
