Doesn't using LanguageKit under OSX imply being able to run the new runtime? Is that possible?
I know for someone like me, who unfortunately just doesn't have time to go through iterations of building gnustep, clang and etoile etc; resolve problems; restart... having some clean XCode projects would be a key to be able to start contributing in a small way (until I get time to get a more complete system running). I'd love to try to port some languages using LanguageKit for example. /Felix 2010/2/19 Eric Wasylishen <ewasylis...@gmail.com>: > Hey, > I chatted with Quentin and David on SILC earlier this week about plans for > the next release. > > I proposed that instead of doing a full Étoilé release, we'll release 3 > components: EtoileFoundation, EtoileUI, and LanguageKit, because these are > what we've done the most work on over the last year. > > My hope is that releasing these separately will interest developers more, and > avoid creating false expectations of having a complete desktop ready to try > by labelling it as an Étoilé release.
