The compiler backend only supports the GNU runtime, but the interpreter works 
on the Mac runtime or GNU runtime. Ideally it will be transparent to users of 
LK, although right now you have to invoke the interpreter explicitly.

My SmalltalkWorkspace app works equally well on Mac OS or under GNUstep. (at 
least, it did work on OS X - I need to fix something with the LK Xcode project 
now)

Cool.
Also, I had some success getting GNUstep from macports working last week (GUI 
applications worked for the first time). I have to play with it a bit more, but 
in the future this could be a good option for Mac users to try / develop Étoilé.
