Jeff,
You make some good points, but I have to say that I completely
disagree with your point that nonsiteop etreers are not sharing the
music. I don't have a server, but I ALWAYS share the shows that I
download and I'm always willing to hook up newbies with BnPs from my
list. Many mail trades go on without the list ever seeing it. Many
etreers search shows owned by other etreers and set up snail mail trades
of specific shows that they are looking for. I also disagree about your
displeasure with WOB tax. It encourages trading. I think that
(although not required) it is good practice to offer a freebie when
posting to the list. It's all about spreading the music, right?
