Yes, but what's wrong with going to etree.org and just reading the 
FAQ?  Personally, I can't understand people jumping in here without doing 
ANY research...which sinnercorp obviously did.  It seems that most 
"newbies" stumble upon someone's etree db, run to the web site, signup, and 
start asking questions that are CLEARLY answered in the FAQ.

There's nothing wrong with asking for help, but to jump right in and ask 
"what's a b-n-p?" or "can someone send me a list of servers with logons and 
passwords?" or "who's got the metallica dude??!?"

If you'll notice, sinnercorp's original message was sent to etree, etrade, 
and the announce list.  This doesn't look like he read ANYTHING to me...

I'm not picking on the guy, but it seems there's been an influx of this 
lately...

As far as the conflict of interest issue, I think the db is simply a 
tool.  You want to list taper unfriendly bands?  Go ahead.  That doesn't 
mean they can be discussed on-list.  Maybe a dislcaimer on the db site?  I 
don't know...
