OK, I've been made clear on the GD trading policy...I think I may have been confusing it with other bands' policies on trading officially released material.
Here's what one person has to say since my post: "It's ok to trade any Dead recordings provided what you are trading pre-dates the commercial release, or is obviously a different version such as an audience recording." These tapes were made public in '92, so they obviously predate the official release (i.e., the former scenario above). Thanks to all for clearing this up!!! I probably should have reread the Dead's official policy before bringing this up. Selah... john WOB: I have an excellent recording of moe. 9-18-98 WAV on my HD right now...I'll take a few for that; or if you prefer shns, I have an equally exceptional recording of SKB 12-31-01 SHN. Offer closes at 5PM Pacific time. _______________________________________________ etree.org etree mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://mail.etree.org/mailman/listinfo/etree Need help?
