To add my $ .02, when I was in Israel, I met a hippie Orthodox Jewish man,
who couldn't understand why I wanted to buy a slice of pizza with mushrooms
on it, when they did not have psilocybin in them. He then proceeded to eat
with me and tell me all about his touring with the Dead (in the US). We
then went to a park overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem, where he taught
me Torah, but through the lyrics of the Dead. Pretty trippy, not to mention
some pretty good hash.
