Thanks for the reference. That documentation is far better than
the book I unfortunately bought (Samba - Integrating Unix and Windows
- John Blair).
I seem to have some oddities on the NT side. In network setup, it
won't allow me to specify an IP address (it's grayed out, with
the DHCP server option selected). That would probably screw
up my dialup networking function but it seems like it would be
essential for the NT and Linux systems to talk with each other
over the network.
The same is true for WINS setup, the box for entering the WINS ip
address is grayed out. I do have WINS Client (TCP/IP) and NETBEUI
protocol bindings set for the server, the workstation, the netbios,
and RAS.
BTW, my netbeui network is working fine for windows 95 and nt systems.
