I always kinda liked "LUGE" (pronounced LOOZH) (Linux Users Group of
Eugene).
It connotes speed... coolness... wiping out on ice at 70 mph-- all the
great concepts
developed by Calvin & Hobbes (my favorite Linux screensaver BTW). 'nuf

Whoa:   *Just* when I thought the mist was settling, along comes the "LUGE" suggestion . . .

and it would make the group "Not-yet-another-LUG . . "

Oh well, its probably too late in the curve to look at a new candidate, but if its still up in the air . . .
I'd want to put my vote in for LUGE . . . would be good Winter and Summer (Road Luge wipeouts being
at LEAST as gnarly as 70-mph icy street hide-rides . . . ! )

one syllable,
no TLA-ness,

. . . . . and Penguins LUGE daily!

endit.
