It happens for root. I checked to make sure the links were set up
correctly also:
/etc/X11/X -> /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_SVGA
/usr/X11R6/bin/X -> /usr/X11R6/bin/Xwrapper
It's a newly installed system and not much is on it yet. I don't recall
meddling in anything X related between work and home.
