Mostly south of 18th Avenue, but including the UO campus, mostly east of
Chambers street City View and the Lorrane Highway, mostly west of the river
and mostly north of Pleasant Hill.

You are in the district.

The bad guys already use all they like. The good guys should be allowed to
too. This is part of the privacy issue. There should be more, not less
privacy. It should be uncrackable, exportable.

>Anti-trust and MS

Too complex and not a state issue. I'll wait to see what Jackson does with it.

>Protection of Personal Data

Pro. I should have legal and practical ways of protecting my own identity,
secrets, buying habits, etc, etc, etc, and you should too.

>Censorship as far as child protection is concerned

You should buy whatever censorship program you want on your computer at
home. I'd like to make the programmer share his algorithm or list of
censored sites but if you want to cut out access to the good stuff that
gets dumped along with the "bad" that is your problem. Public access
computers should not be censored. Parents and teachers should supervise
computer use and children should be taught about protecting themselves from
inappropriate sites/dangerous people. See also the Eugene 4J policy on the
use of the internet at their web site at http://4j.lane.edu
