I'm going to a Community Village meeting tonight at the cafeteria
of Westmorland Elementary School near 18th and City View. Here I'll find
out about eligibility requirments for EUG-LUG's participation. What I know
so far is that we can get two slots for people, presuming we meet
eligibility req's. All interested in keeping me from playing loose cannon
who can respond on this short notice should come.
On a mildly related note, I volunteer at Conde's for his music
events, and interest has been expressed in a LUG presence for the Hemp
Fest the weekend of Bastille Day (14 July for those who never lived near
francophones). More on that as I get more details. Certainly I'm going to
include the Mid-Willamette (Corvallis) LUG in the discussion as and if it
looks promising.
Gee, it's challenging to interact with people on a conventional
schedule when I'm asleep during the day.
