Went to the OCF Community Village meeting tonight, as amusing and
enlightening as I suspected.
We're welcome to distribute propaganda and CD-ROM's to our hearts'
content from the Communications Booth in the Community Village. While it
hadn't ocurred to me to _Sell_ CD-ROM's, it was explicitly stated that No,
we couldn't sell them, but we'd be welcome to suggest donations to offset
costs. I pointed out that we'd had fairly good luck getting distros to
provide CD's gratis.
The delegation from efn (Thank you Patrick and Drake) ably
defended our status as a non-profit group, and Open Source in general. I
guess it might be a Good Thing to formally organise and get non-profit
status.
Probably none of us can have camping passes the first year, but we
might have 4 day passes each day.
I'll probably connect with necessary paperwork Friday.
