The problem is that headhunters and other job listings sent direct to the
list are a real pain. We have managed just fine with occasional forwards
of job offers, because someone on this list said 'hey, this is open, go for
it.' Why do we need to get it from some headhunter.

The FIRST time a non-linux/non-unix job posting hits this list, I'd request
the list admin to block the address. If Clairemarie will swear an oath to
only post Oregon jobs with Linux or Unix related skills, I'd live with it,
and grit my teeth, since it would on topic for this list.
