Rather than the standard clinic meeting, I'd like to hold a simple meeting
with JUST those people willing and able to contribute skills/time/whatever
to the group.

Attending the meeting is NOT a requirement, but if you can, all the better,
since
the more voices speaking up the better. If it's just NOT possible, email
your interest
to me directly and I'll try to keep it in mind when we discuss things...

I'd like to start to pin down a meeting location, mailing list changes, and
lots of other things
that EUGLUG needs/wants to do... this including keysigning parties, school
LTSP projects,
and much more. I'd like people to take 'projects' and responsiblity for
those projects.

That means that if you volunteer for 'meeting space', you will make phone
calls, go view spaces, discuss the issues with the owners, and come back
with 1 or 2 places that make the most sense, in a timely manner for us to
start holding meetings as of Jan 2002.

Some projects will have less priority but still have a time frame for us to
shoot for.
If you have an idea, a desire for a project, please come and talk about it,
but be prepared to be put in charge of making it come true.

Please DO NOT volunteer unless you are willing to give your time and energy
and make a commitment to do so. DO NOT even bother coming to the meeting
unless you are prepared to follow through.

We are at the point where we need to get some order, and it's time to start
planning it.

This thursday is Thanksgiving, aka Penguin Day... (what? Oh, sorry, some
other large flightless bird). So this would be the first meeting after
that.

I am open to suggestions for a location to hold this meeting. KBob has
volunteered his great big house, but it's quite a trip out of town, and I'd
like to find something closer and more central. Needs to be quiet, yet open
enough to hold a good meeting. Anyone else want to volunteer a place? This
will not be a big meeting, nor will be setting up machines or tech support.
Solely organizational, and I'd like it to last under 2 hours TOPS. A food
location would be ok, but not ideal.
