UUCP inst dead, it just smells funny :) I dunno... I have no problem with
either/both... but the newsgroup thing just wasnt as popular as mailing list.

Jamie, how's management of it treating

Its really not a big deal... its mostly no work, however If people could
simply subscribe themselves (see http://www.rocksolidnetworks.com/list.html)
Then I dont have to worry about little scraps of paper, with possible typos,
or uncertainty) Is that too much to ask...
The other issue is bounce messages, when one server goes down, I get a
bounce message for each message that goes to the list (for each member on
that server) untill the server goes back up. Several services have regular
problems, yahoo is one. and that can be annoying, especially when you get 30
messages, and only 5 are actual messages, the other 25 are just error
notifications... I get error notifications every day, and its usually no big
deal... i got a delete key.
Managing the list isnt a big issue, but it would be better if people can
just subscribe themselves, instead of passing me something scribbled on a
scrap of paper (and heck... that hasnt happened in quite a while... ).
