The Open Source Users Group Presents:
LINUX FIREWALL PRESENTATION
* Free, and open to the public *

Agenda:
I. OSUG Politics (15 minutes)
A. Determine Topic for next meeting
B. Go over funding issues
C. Status of class announcements
II. Presentation (30-60 minutes)
We'll be presenting the basics of TCP/IP, firewalls,
routing, and configuration of ipchains for basic
protection, and sharing of internet connection using
Network Address Translation.
Questions will be answered during the presentation.
III. Workshop (until 8pm)
This will be the time when members can help others in
setting up their machines (should people bring them in).
Note that this is _not_ limited to just firewalls, we'll
be happy to help you with anything that we can.
What to bring (everything is optional):
o A notebook or laptop to write notes
o If you would like assistance with your computer,
please bring all parts necessary to operate it.
o Network cable for net access or to test your firewall
against those h4x0r types.
o Food to share (large bottles of caffine, cups, chips, etc.)
