so is there a tarball up?
One thing I've thought about is adding a rating system with something like
this for each event
<select name=$event_name_index >
<option value="0">I plan to attend</option>
<option value="1">Interesting, I'll tryy to make it</option>
<option value="2">Sounds Good, but I can't make it</option>
<option value="3">Borring!</option>
<option value="100">This listing is profane or offensive</option>
</select>

and then rank events for display by least sum first with a cutoff of 100
with the admin only being alerted for cutoff events.
