This drive is from way before UDMA... its ata, and probably just happy to be
IDE! (much less EIDE, or UDMA!)

wd0: soft error (corrected)
is the message I see (dmesg), the network issue is still not resolved... my
guess is some bit of info needed was on a bad sector or something... when I
run sh /etc/netstart I get the messge
writing to routing socket: File exists

is the network device driver loaded? how would I know? what file exists?
should it? what should I do about this file?

so... I would like to get the network back up... so I can try more stuff...
like I did find nano :) will make it my def editor, aswell as make a symlink
or alias for pico :)

'DOH!
he he he.... dns is fun huh :) I wish I still had my networks up... I really
liked doing DNS fun.... running mailserver is cool too... but once you get it
running right you dont usually mess with it much... but you can have fun with
DNS anyday :)

I guess I missed that one.... He did mention something about framebuffer, and
making a floppy bootable system w/graphical interface once...
