I have the Dorio dumb terminal and was using a null modem cable to connect it
to my box. I was thinking about connecting it to a hub. I know I would need
a serial to cat5 connector. Does anyone have a spare one? I know the
terminals which stan gave away had them attached. I have 2 dorio's. Would
there be any configuring I would have to do?

I fried my other computers hard drive (1.2 gig) the other day. I had to buy
a 486 cpu fan. The wires on the extension cord (to get the power for the fan
and connects to the hard drive) were switched. So the 5 volt was the 12volt
and the 12 volt was 5 volts. I called the place and told them they said it
was basically "to bad" parts like that are sold as is and I could replace it
with a new fan. I was thinking about making this one into a diskless x
terminal and was wondering if anyone ever made one work. Do you need a boot
rom for this to work or a floppy or what?

I search freshmeat and they had some thin client workstations.
