Check your mixer settings. Your distro probably has aumix and/or smixer, either program can be used to check and change your mixer settings. If you get error messages about 'no such device' or something along those lines when you run one of those, then your sound card isn't set up properly. I don't think CD audio always goes through the soundcard, or does it? -- <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
