You must have not installed any of them. Check your menus. You should have a multimedia menu, under it, you should have a sound menu. There are a lot of mp3 players out there (and rippers). try: mpg123 mpg321 xmms as far as mixers.... aumix kmix gmix rexima
If your unsure about your sound... use DrakConf to see whats installed and if it says its working... If you dont have any of those programs installed... used drakconf to install them. I don't think CD audio always goes through the soundcard, or : > does it? : : I entered aumix and smixer at the X terminal (one at a time, of course :-) : and I don't seem to have the programs. They must be laughing about this at : Mandrake headquarters. Also I remember that I used Mandrake 5.2 and it had : at least 5 KDE MP3 players - why aren't they included - people stopped : developing them or did they consolidate efforts? : : Landscapes of the Mind : [EMAIL PROTECTED]
