Hey... I spent some time compliling kernel yesterday... I have a nice kernel
for my desktop, but it seems that bttv module diddnt get compiled... I have
no tv on my workstation :(
I looked around using make menuconfig, and found no reference to it (so I
could ask it to compile as module...) I looked though the source tree, and
found (under drivers/media/video) bttv files, since its probably the only
module I need, is there a way to just make that module and copy it to
/lib/modules/blah.blah... ?
note: there is bttv.h, bttv.c, but no bttv.o
As a side note, now the tv doesnt work under suse (it did before compiling and
installing the new kernel under slackware... ) now I get a video device
error.. do I need to makedev or something?
