A little googling found i2c (i square c)... so I found that... and found bttv 
in char devices... all is well :)
Now... to get that damn laptop to compile... 700megs of nothing but kernel 
source, programming stuff and networking stuff, and it fails to compile a 
kernel! sigh... I think Ill just start from scratch with nothing but 
programming and kernel stuff.
