I use uw-imapd. Here is the script to set it up: echo "Make Imap-2001. This will run from inetd." cd /usr/src if [ ! -e /usr/src/imap-2001.RELEASE-CANDIDATE.1 ]; then ungtar imap.tar.Z cd imap-2001.RELEASE-CANDIDATE.1 make slx cp imapd/imapd /usr/sbin cp ipopd/ipop2d /usr/sbin cp ipopd/ipop3d /usr/sbin cp c-client/c-client.a /usr/local/lib/libc-client.a cp c-client/*.h /usr/local/include cp /usr/src/linux/include/config/unix.h /usr/local/include fi I use it for all the reasons you mentioned. It's been awhile since I've checked for a newer release. I guess I should that some day. -- Bob Crandell Assured Computing When you need to be sure.
