You won't find a DV cam with USB except for
transfering still photos maybe. USB is also freakin'
slow!! DV cams aren't likely to have USB2.0 support
yet and Firewire will actually be easier to get going
under your OS of choice. Sony cams also allow you to
capture small clips to a very proprietary little
stick. (USB mass storage device :)) Canon, Sony,
Panasonic, and Sharp should all have some offerings in
the price range you want. Happy hunting.
