I dont see Motherboard manufacturuers as a very good distrubution outlet. Sure
it would be better than nothing... motherboard manufacturers have started
providing linux drivers with their windows drivers, and that is good... I
still think McDonalds would be a rockin' distribution system. If every Happy
MealTM had a linux install cd (either packaged inside, or as part of the
package (cut it out, and pop it in your cdrom drive...)
While were on the topic, what about US Postal Service? is there a better
distribution model? AOL not olny sends thier cd's through the mail, but now
they leave a pile of them in the post office... pity no linux distributor has
done it... If I was distributing linux cd's... Id start with the post office
and work fast food distribution...
I wouldnt mind seeing Hard drive manufacturers shipping hard drives with
linux pre-installed... it might be easier for people to learn linux than
installing windows!
