If you think an undergrad can help you, you can fwd a post to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], or directly to [EMAIL PROTECTED] IIRC;
you might find someone who'll do basic install/config help for as low as
$10 or $15/hour... As Cory demonstrates, it really depends on how much
expertise you seek. Are we talking about knowing the control panels,
registry-mucking, or worse? Specialty hardware? Maybe it is something
that you could bring to a free clinic?? At those events, there are
often a bounty of zealots who'd be happy to wipe your Winders install
and replace it with something more appreciated. Or just bring the linux
half of your problem to the clinic, and find a non-zealot to help with
the rest. Granted, I am a bit of a zealot, but would be happy to talk
with you about your needs off-list, and undercut the "standard"
consulting rates listed below if your needs are indeed basic.
