I disagree. Two filesystems can appear the same but be slightly different. Besides, he doesn't have the original ISO from the source. If he did, he wouldn't need to read the CD. Comparing the .iso's md5 to the original is the way to be sure. And if you do decide to mount the .iso, be sure to mount it READ-ONLY! (I've been bitten...
