Here's an interesting one. Not sure if it's new or not. Upon removing my TV card from my computer and attempting to reboot, Lilo will only end up with 'L' and that takes quite some time to get to. I've booted a rescue disc, recompiled my kernel (the only thing I'm good at), ran 'lilo', and got a funky message about not knowing what video device the system was using. Needless to say, once I put the TV card back in the system boots fine!? Anyone with a clue as to what to do? Gentoo it is of course. I'll keep checking threads. Thanks.
