Pat et al.
This got my interest! Ive recently purchased an extra el-cheapo camera, and
it had very limited support right now. I have never done any USB stuff
before, so theres some learning i have to do!

Right now Ive found someone else that has some luck getting something out of
this camera, and am anxiously awating code to extract photos from this
camera.

My camera:
Concord EyeQ Mini
It has 3 major functions:
webcam
Still cam (640x480, fine, normal (one is compressed, but the same res))
movie clips (32second max)

It has 8 megs ram onboard (non-removable, volitile)
USB

Ive run rc.hotplug, and the device shows up when issuing:
cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

Im told that the images are in "raw Bayer data format", and the compressed
images seem to be a jpeg like format.

anyrate, the first step would be to getting the data from the camera to the
secondary storage device (hard disk), and deleting from the camera.

Then next step would be to process the images into a usable format.

after Im able to do that, Id like to figure out how to use the camera as a
webcam, and how to do the 32 second videos....

Any tips or help would be really helpful. Note: USB is new for me... I *think*
but am not positive that I have that part right!

Also on the USB topic, when I run rc.hotplug, it tries to load usb based
modules for my other module loaded devices (which are already loaded!) such
as my sound, network, and TV tuner. How to I keep that from happening? I
looked in my blacklist file, and they are in there (but yet, they still try
to load!)
