I'm currently using Mandrake on my Compaq Evo N410c; however, it's not fully compatible with some hardware, i.e. my Compaq Wireless LAN W200. I like Mandrake, but I really need the wireless LAN to work in the near future and I have some MS software apps that I'd like to use in the meantime, until I find alternative solutions for my requirements. It's looking like Xandros is what I need for right now, with its broad flexibility.

Mandrake and RedHat are quite user-friendly, easy to install and operate. HTH B.R.
