I'm not quite sure what the stacker actually does yet. Originally the box
was used as a parts lookup library for my company and we would get new
sets of discs every few months. It connects through the external SCSI
connector, and its basically a tall box with 4 DVD readers in it, a big
fan, and its own power supply. The drives are detected like so in debian:
