Lies and specifications! There are no less than three ways of measuring response time, and vendors tend to use the one that gives their panels the lowest number. OTOH, my Apple LCD doesn't do "black" and "near black" very well as seperate colours. Of course, most CRTs aren't a whole lot better at that, but you can buy those that are. If you want better colour response, look for the Samsung four-colour panels. They are RGBW.
