Not to sound redundant but trying to better understand the problem. It does not work at all is what you are saying right? With and without power? Have you tried power cord and remove the battery? If it's under warranty have it taken care of that way. The fact that you dual boot has nothing to do with faulty hardware. Have you tried an external monitor? What about removing the drives, battery, and only have one piece for RAM? Standard diagnostics here. It's what I'd do first before opening everything and reseating the CPU.
