"Picasa for Linux" bundled with WINE is not very technically interesting to me personally, but I'm sure the ramifications for full-time 'doze users is quite great.  Like the "switch" campaign, which I still think we're in the dinosaur epoch of, just stabilized an evolutionary device.

Big whoop -- for some.  As for iTunes for linux:  no thanks.  There is a decent Java-based iTunes client which works well on linux or other Java-capable platforms.

Market-share, pfft.  :)  If this list's membership still carries some of its Lane County quirks, then some of us would be disgusted to be in the majority.  ;)   Make me find a new fringe culture, will they?!
