"Picasa for Linux" bundled with WINE is not very technically interesting to me personally, but I'm sure the ramifications for full-time 'doze users is quite great. Like the "switch" campaign, which I still think we're in the dinosaur epoch of, just stabilized an evolutionary device.
Big whoop -- for some. As for iTunes for linux: no thanks. There is a decent Java-based iTunes client which works well on linux or other Java-capable platforms.
Market-share, pfft. :) If this list's membership still carries some of its Lane County quirks, then some of us would be disgusted to be in the majority. ;) Make me find a new fringe culture, will they?!

Imagine iTunes on linux!! Then Apple would grow from 72% to 80+%
market share with the iPod!
